Sean’s work examines the connections between the traditional spiritual practices of shugendo and ninpo, highlights the role that Inukai wolf-dog breeders played in the movement of ninja to the Kyoto region, and delves into the unique style of falconry that was simultaneously practiced by exponents of ninjutsu.
