The process is safe, gentle, and simple to follow. The benefits are authentic and the effects lasting. The Presence Process is a guided journey. It provides the practical techniques and perceptual tools required to extract our attention from the trappings of a time-based mentality, allowing us to gradually re-enter the present moment in which our experience is unfolding. The Presence Process is the result of a quest that consciously began in the Arizona desert in 1996. It was here, possibly for the first time since early childhood, that I reunited with my authentic beingness and experienced the profound radiance of such communion. Throughout this text, I refer to this authentic beingness as “Presence” and call the radiant experience that becomes possible when this divine essence takes the reins of our life “present moment awareness.” Before these encounters with my authentic beingness, for almost ten years I had been preoccupied with the task of coping with, and heal myself of, an acutely painful neurological condition called Horton’s Syndrome.
